Post Fellowship Training
The CPSP Trust has a QARZ-E-HASNA scheme for the fellows of the College for post-fellowship training in Pakistan or abroad. The sanctioned loan is to be repaid in three years after completion of training. It is advanced to a fellow only once. Every year College invites applications from the desirous Fellows of at least three years standing for post-fellowship training in selected sub-specialities. The relevance of the field of training vis-a-vis the local requirement is a key consideration for alocation of loans. During 1991 to 2009, 101 fellows were sponsored by the Trust under QARZ-E-HASNA scheme, which involved release of a total sum of Rs. 27.69 Million as Qarz-e-Hasna.
It is an intrest free advance for the deserving post fellowship cadidates who are undertaking research / training in the fields of Medical Sciense for a batter health care system for the country.
The CPSP trust was launched by his founder President Late (R). General W A Burki.
Post Fellowship Training Reactivated
College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan Trust (CPSP Trust) has been reactivated for the post fellowship training. The CPSP Trust invites applications from its fellows with a minimum of three years post fellowship experience in a CPSP accredited institution, in accordance with the CPSP Trust criteria.
