President's Message

After the remarkable success of the International Medical Education Conferences (IMECon) held in 2023 and 2024, the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) is organising IMECon 2026 at CPSP Headquarters, Karachi on 7th and 8th February 2026. The conference will be preceded by pre-conference workshops on 4th & 5th February at the Headquarters.

CPSP continues to advance postgraduate medical and dental education in Pakistan and regularly engages educators and clinicians in academic dialogue to strengthen educational practices. IMECon 2026 is another step in this direction. The theme of the conference is "Enhancing Competence, Compassion, and Resilience through Innovation and Collaboration," and it will feature participation from distinguished national and international medical educationists.

As part of the lead-up to the main event, educational workshops will be conducted at institutions across the country from 15th to 31st January 2026 under the banner of CPSP IMECon 2026. The conference programme will feature keynote addresses, parallel sessions covering various sub-themes, symposia on medical education topics, and competitions in poster presentation, residents' research, and PechaKucha-style presentations.

Faculties and postgraduate residents from across the country are invited to participate in the conference and associated workshops. Postgraduate residents are especially encouraged to submit their work for the research competition.
